This past weekend was a very eventful one for our two lovely cats. After months of them using their old cat tree that was actually falling apart, we finally got them a new one. This new, top-of-the-art cat tree came with so much scratching space, two little hammocks for them to sleep in, and 3 other little beds they could comfortably lounge in. We spent all Sunday afternoon assembling this bad boy, and we were so excited to introduce it to our cats.

What we obviously should have seen coming, is that our cats were much more interested in the box that the tree came in, and proceeded to scratch it, sleep in it, and play with it, completely ignoring the tree itself. We tried everything to get them to climb the tree and try it out, but eventually, we just gave up.
